EPL: Nottingham Forest Sign Andre Ayew
Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Ghana captain André Ayew following his recent departure from Al Sadd.
The player will wear the shirt number 42 during his time on Trentside.
“It’s a great feeling to sign for Nottingham Forest”,
“I know how big the club is and I know how much the club means to the city and the fanbase. It’s always been difficult whenever I’ve played against Forest and at The City Ground and I love the stadium” André Ayew said.
As it stands, the 33-year-old Ghana captain is the third all-time Ghanaian Premier League top scorer with 21 goals.
Jordan Ayew has so far scored 30 goals followed by Anthony Yeboah who has 24 goals.
Andre netted 22 goals in 39 games for Qatari side Al Sadd since joining the club in 2021.
