‘I Am The Biggest Artist In The Eastern Region’ – Rising Afrobeats Singer ProjeeNie Says

Rising Afrobeats and highlife music singer, Isaac Dornu Dogbear Kuami widely known in the creative arts space as Projee Nie has made a bold claim that he is the biggest music artist in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The Kyebi-based songster said this in an exclusive interview on Kwahu’s finest radio station, Agoo FM 96.9 on Saturday June 23, 2023. Responding to the host of AGOO SHOWBIZ, Projee Nie stated that, there are talented artists in the Eastern Region which he rightly recognizes, but non of these artists match the talent he carries in him.

The artist who has a hugely distinct fanbase called ProGenius also disclosed during the interview that he discovered himself as a talented singer when a lady jilted him some years back. He added that his first music single was even themed around his bitter love experience which has moulded the talent in him till date.

Talking about the struggles as an upcoming artist, he stated that music doesn’t make sense to a lot of people when one has no hit song.

“To begin something isn’t easy, taking music as an example, it doesn’t make sense to anybody until you blow [make it]”, he said.

“When you get love for something, it’s hard for you to quit. And, you don’t quit when you start. When people grow interest in the good things you do, you don’t need to quit doing them to disappoint those people”, he added.

Projee Nie has been doing music since 2019. Despite taking a break in 2020 due financial reasons, the sweet-voiced Artist has bounced back in 2023 with budding hit songs.
