The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued an update to address concerns raised by teachers regarding the ongoing registration for the 2025 promotion exercise.
According to a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, Mr. Daniel Fenyi, management has taken note of two key issues:
1. The inclusion of all eligible teachers who received their last promotion or appointment in or before 2021.
2. Technical challenges faced by applicants in accessing and applying through the online portal.
GES assured teachers that no eligible applicant will be excluded from the process. “The application is open to all teachers who received their last promotion or appointment in or before 2021,” the statement emphasized.
On the technical difficulties, management explained that the promotion link is currently undergoing improvements to enhance access and efficiency. Teachers experiencing challenges were urged to remain calm, as the problem is being resolved.
“Management takes full responsibility for the technical challenge and will solve it,” the release added.
The Service reiterated its commitment to ensuring a fair, transparent, and credible promotion process that guarantees equity and leaves no qualified teacher behind.
