Antoine Semenyo scored a goal in his first game for Manchester City during their FA Cup third-round win over Exeter City on Saturday. The Ghanaian winger joined City from AFC Bournemouth in January 2026.
He provide assist to Rico Lewis to scored in the 49th minutes and later scored a goal himself in the 54th minute.
Manchester City signed Semenyo on a long-term deal for a club-record fee of about £62.5 million to £65 million. This makes him one of the most expensive Ghanaian players in football history.
The club announced his signing earlier in the week, and he was cleared to play in the FA Cup match under manager Pep Guardiola.
At 26 years old, Semenyo brings Premier League experience and strong attacking skills to the Manchester City team. His goal on debut is a good start and raises hopes as the club fights for trophies this season.
