Maxx Entertainment Honours DJ Blay for Outstanding Contribution to Ghana Street DJ Competition

Maxx Entertainment has presented a citation plaque to renowned broadcaster and DJ, DJ Blay, in recognition of his excellent contributions to the Ghana Street DJ Competition and the wider entertainment industry. The honour celebrates his dedication, passion, and consistent efforts in promoting Ghanaian talent and delivering quality entertainment over the years.

The citation, signed by Nana Okyere Anokora Buakwa III, Managing Director of Maxx Entertainment, praised DJ Blay for his exceptional commitment and unwavering dedication to excellence. It pointed at his tireless work both behind the scenes and in the spotlight, noting that his efforts have played a key role in shaping the entertainment landscape and uplifting emerging talents across the country.

According to the citation, DJ Blay’s resilience, creativity, and teamwork have been instrumental in the success of several productions. “Your passion is the true engine of success,” the citation stated, adding that the award serves as a testament to his invaluable contribution to the industry. It concluded with a strong message of appreciation: “Salute to your service.”

DJ Blay’s broadcasting career spans over 16 years, having entered the media industry in 2008 at Obuoba FM. He later worked with Agoo FM before moving to Republic FM, where he spent four years and nine months. His recent return to Agoo FM marks a full-circle moment in his radio journey.

Currently, DJ Blay is part of the EIB Network, serving as the Events and Marketing Executive at Agoo 96.9 FM. Over the years, he has built a solid reputation in the media and entertainment space, earning industry respect for his consistency and professionalism. In 2024, his work was further recognised when he was nominated for Best DJ, Eastern Region, at the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, cementing his status as one of the region’s respected DJs, as well as the entire country as a whole.
