GES Announces Timetable for 2026 Staff Promotion Examinations

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the timetable for the 2026 Staff Promotion Examinations, scheduled to take place from Monday, November 2, to Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

According to the timetable, the examinations will be conducted over three days, with different ranks scheduled for each day.

The examination schedule is as follows:

• Monday, November 2, 2026: Director I and Director II.
• Tuesday, November 3, 2026: Principal Superintendent II and Assistant Director II (ADII).
• Wednesday, November 4, 2026: Assistant Director I and Deputy Director.

The timetable was signed by Professor Smile Dzisi, Deputy Director-General of the GES, on behalf of the Director-General.

Applicants are encouraged to take note of the dates assigned to their respective ranks and prepare accordingly.

The announcement forms part of the GES’s arrangements for the 2026 staff promotion exercise.
