2022 BECE Registration Starts On 3rd May: The Process And What Headteachers Must Do.

Registration for basic school candidates commences on 3rd May, 2022 as indicated by The West African Examination Council

(WAEC). The process will last from early May through to the 2nd day of September, 2022.

In a press release sighted by sixscribes.com, the registration process will go through three critical but important phases.

They are;

1. Phase 1: capturing of candidates personal details, subject selection and pictures. This is valid and would be done between 3rd May, 2022 and 10th June, 2022.

1. Phase 2:  downloading of the CASS software. This software will be used by schools to upload students cumulative scores onto the software and also upload the data onto the online registration portal. This would be done between 27th and 12 August, 2022. 

1. Phase 3:  downloading the school selection software from 4th July and 2nd September 2022. Head teachers and teachers involved in the registration process of schools would be entreated to enter school selection details of candidates unto 2022 BECE Registration portal.

It is therefore the responsibility of various head teachers and all stakeholders to study the 2022 BECE registration process and procedure, read notes for the guidance of heads of schools and use the BECE registration manual critically for comprehension.
