Antwiriifo, Bono Region – Tragedy struck the quiet community of Antwiriifo near Dormaa-Ahenkro when a 35-year-old man brutally butchɛred his six-year-old son.

Wednesday, leaving residents in shock and disbelief.

According to a police report, the man, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, inflicted multiple cutlass wounds on his son, resulting in the boy’s untimely death.

While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, the brutal nature of the act has sparked widespread outrage.

The situation escalated when the suspect attempted to flee the scene. A Customs Officer, who was in the vicinity, intervened and fatally sh0t the man to prevent his escape.

The Dormaa District Police Command arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information about the incident. They found the lifeless bodies of both the boy and his father at the location.

In a statement, the police confirmed,
