Freezy MacBones Finally Clears Air On Switching To Represent UK Instead Of Ghana [Watch]
Ghanaian-born UK based boxer, Seth Gyimah known in sports as Freezy Macbone has finally spoken after several information circulated online on his supposed switch to represent United Kingdom instead of his motherland Ghana.
The boxer whose exceptional performances caught the eyes of the internet said in an interview that there is no truth in the romours. He added he has a teams who represent his decisions both in the UK and Ghana, so, if there should be a switch, the team will decide but not the internet.
Freeze MacBones: “It’s something I never talked about, I never talked about it on the internet or social media or anything. People want me to come out and talk about it but the thing is, I’ve got a team…I’ve got my management team, sponsorship team you know… and I have another strong team in Ghana. It’s not true. Here me now it’s not true, I haven’t changed my nationality”
Meanwhile, the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has confirmed through President, Mr. Abraham Neequaye, that Freezy MacBones, 33, has chosen to represent UK instead of Ghana. According to Mr. Neequaye, Seth Gyimah made the nationality switch right before his professional debut.
He additionally said, they gave Ghana Boxing Association (GBA) license to Seth Gyimah, when he first decided to become a boxer but chose UK in the end.
Freezy Macbone is set for a bout on July 21, 2023 in York Hall, London as he announced his readiness in a Twitter post.
