GES Welcomes Dr. Munawaru Issahaque as Ag. Deputy Director-General

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially welcomed Dr. Munawaru Issahaque as the Acting Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access at the GES Headquarters. His appointment marks another significant step toward improving educational standards and accessibility across the country.

Dr. Issahaque brings a wealth of experience and expertise in education administration and policy planning. He holds an impressive academic background, including a PhD in Social Administration, a Doctor of Economics degree, an M.Phil in Education Planning, and a B.Ed in Psychology with Economics. His extensive experience in the education sector includes serving as the Savelugu Municipal Director of Education in the Northern Region, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing educational outcomes and policy implementation.

The GES Headquarters extended a warm welcome to Dr. Issahaque, expressing confidence in his ability to drive policies that promote quality education and ensure equitable access to learning opportunities for all Ghanaian students. His leadership is expected to contribute significantly to the government’s broader educational reforms and development agenda.
