The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially welcomed Dr. Munawaru Issahaque as the Acting Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access at the GES Headquarters. His appointment marks another significant step toward improving educational standards and accessibility across the country.
Dr. Issahaque brings a wealth of experience and expertise in education administration and policy planning. He holds an impressive academic background, including a PhD in Social Administration, a Doctor of Economics degree, an M.Phil in Education Planning, and a B.Ed in Psychology with Economics. His extensive experience in the education sector includes serving as the Savelugu Municipal Director of Education in the Northern Region, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing educational outcomes and policy implementation.
The GES Headquarters extended a warm welcome to Dr. Issahaque, expressing confidence in his ability to drive policies that promote quality education and ensure equitable access to learning opportunities for all Ghanaian students.
