Accra, August 7, 2025 – The National Communications Authority (NCA) has officially notified Multichoice Ghana Limited of its intention to suspend the company’s authorisation to operate its Satellite Television Broadcasting (Pay TV Direct-to-Home Bouquet) service in Ghana.

The regulatory move, announced in a press release issued today, is based on Section 13 of the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775), which empowers the Authority to take such actions when service conditions are deemed contrary to the public interest.
