A helicopter with flight number 9G-AFW made an emergency landing at Ampekrom, near Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana on Monday.

The aircraft, which was en route from Accra to Kumasi, was forced to land due to unfavorable weather conditions. Sixscribes Network can confirm that, all passengers and crew on board were safe. After disembarking, they continued their journey to Kumasi by road.

This incident comes just days after a tragic helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, claimed eight lives, heightening public attention on aviation safety in the country.
