The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus, says he plans to build a waterfall in the area by next year to help grow tourism and boost the local economy.

Speaking during the ongoing Gomoa Easter Carnival, he explained that the project is part of a bigger plan to turn the constituency into a lively tourism destination.

He said many people travel abroad to see attractions like penguins in Dubai and artificial waterfalls, so Ghana can also create similar attractions locally.

“Right now, there’s no waterfall in Gomoa, but by next Easter Carnival, you will see a big one—possibly even bigger than others elsewhere,” he said.

According to him, the project will help bring more visitors and create business opportunities in Gomoa Central.
