Omari Ayirebi Kwasi, popularly known in the music industry as DJ Blay, has been nominated for the highly competitive Best DJ Eastern category at the upcoming Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2024. Currently the resident DJ at Republic 97.5 FM in Nkawkaw, Kwahu, DJ Blay has made a name for himself through his influence, commitment, and passion for the DJ scene, especially within Ghana’s Eastern region.
DJ Blay’s journey spans 16 years, beginning in 2008 at Obuoba FM, before moving to Agoo FM, and now Republic FM. His career is marked by exceptional skills and a lasting legacy as a mentor to rising DJs, including notable names such as DJ I Love You of Agoo FM, DJ Ice, and DJ Avero.
