The music video for ‘Oh Paradise ‘ from his debut album ‘The Villain I Never Was’ is a captivating visual masterpiece. The stunning cinematography, intense performance, and symbolic imagery create a profound and immersive experience. The production quality, including set design and costumes, are impeccable.
The first scenes of the video saw pallbearers transporting a casket as some women in black costume wail jointly, to foreground the demise of a loved person.
Blacko joined the wailing women as he sung dirge in a church hall waiting to bid farewell to a departed soul.
The video sent a flashback to back-shadow how the loved one died in an accident, preventing a potential wedding ceremony between both lovers.
The song with its visuals, resonates with hearts and brings back memories of loved ones who have departed. It also serves to a means to honour all departed souls.
