Chris Hughton Officially Unveiled As Black Stars Coach
Chris Hughton has officially been unveiled as Black Stars coach on a contract running till December 2024.
At the unveiling in Kumasi the manager made in it known that the willingly accepted the job to lead the Ghana National Team with joy.
He said: “I didn’t hesitate to accept the Black Stars coaching job”
Speaking on Thomas Partey, the new Black Stars Coach said that the Arsenal midfielder has exceptional qualities but his role at club level differs from that of the national team. Notwithstanding, Partey will be an integral member of his team.
“Partey’s roles for both club and country are different from each other but key. His role in the team is as a continuity player. He is not the type of player to expect to dribble past multiple players. His role is important to what the team does even if he doesn’t always standout” – Chris Hughton said.
“With regards to Kudus, he is a player that can play in numerous positions. Everybody can have an opinion on his best position. For me, it’s just about getting the right balance.” He added
