EPL: Andre Ayew’s Nottingham Forest Draw 2-2 With Everton
Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew was brought on to play 19 minutes for his club Nottingham Forest as they fought levels with Everton.
Brennan Johnson scored a double to help Nottingham Forest come from behind two times to secure an important point in a 2-2 draw at home in an English Premier League fixture.
Demarai Gray from Everton scored for Everton in the 10th minute from a penalty spot. He kicked the ball with the right foot as Forest’s keeper Kaylor Navas chose the wrong side.
Brennan Johnson reacted with an equaliser in the 19th minute but Abdoulaye Doucoure scored to send his side ahead again in the 29th minute of play.
The 77th minute decided the final score of the game as Brennan Johnson sent home again with the left foot. The draw extended Forest’s unbeaten run at home to nine matches.
Everton appeared to controlling the pace of the game but Forest found an equaliser out of nowhere getting into the 80th minute.
Nottingham Forest are currently 14th on the league table after 25 matches played. Everton also struggle as part of the finial three of the relegation zone, having 22 points after playing 26 games.
