EPL: Everton Defeat Arsenal 1-0 On Jorginho’s Debut 

Everton have defeated Arsenal 1-0 at home in an English Premier League clash. 

Losing all three points against Everton means Arsenal remain five points clear of second-placed Manchester City, having played 20 games apiece. 

Pep Guardiola’s City can grab all three points and cut the gap to just two points on Sunday if they win at Tottenham.

Arsenal’s new signing Jorginho was in line and  made his debut for the club against Everton after replacing Thomas Partey in the 59th minute.

The Italy international joined the Gunners from London rivals Chelsea. It is largely expected that Jorginho will play as a backup to Partey.

Everton football club have climbed out of the bottom three with the 1-0 victory over the league leaders. They have secured 18 points.

When Thomas Partey was on the pitch for 59 minutes against Everton; he had 64/69 passes completed, 11/12 long passes completed, won 5 ground duels, made 3 ball recoveries and had 2/2 successful dribbles.

Why was he taken off for Jorginho? Unless probably, he was not fit to play.
