After five Premier League games without a win and three successive defeats, Chelsea Football Club have finally secured a victory over AFC Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge as the Premier League returns from World Cup break.

Raheem Sterling from Chelsea created a scoring chance in the 15th minute which helped Kai Havertz to score the first goal of the game in the 16th minute.

Mason Mount also beat Bournemouth’s goalkeeper from outside the box with the right foot to make it 2:0 in the 24th minute for Chelsea.

Reece James got injured and was replaced by Cesar Azpilicueta in the 53rd minute.

He was treated by Chelsea medical staff before being able to stand up and walk off the pitch.
