2022 WASSCE results were released on November 30, 2022 and statistics show that this year’s results are the best of the last eight years. Since its inception, Ghanaians have questioned the FREE SHS policy due to its numerous shortcomings. Many have said it will go a long way to bring down the education system of the country.

At the anniversary, the president further praised all stakeholders who have contributed to attaining the heights of Opoku Ware School.

“I congratulated management, past and present, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students for their roles in bringing Opoku Ware School this far. The can-do-spirit that saw to the birth of the school, laced with fortitude and dignity, in the face of inevitable challenges, embodies the Ghanaian spirit that we must continue to nurture in order to realise our full potential as a nation.” He said.
