The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that teachers whose appointments were revoked earlier will now have the chance to be reinstated. This decision is part of an effort to clean up the GES payroll and ensure that all recruited staff are properly validated.
To complete the reinstatement process, affected teachers must submit four key documents: their appointment letter, academic certificate, licensure certificate, and national service certificate. A three-member committee, made up of the Regional Human Resource Officer, Regional Internal Auditor, and Regional Accountant, will oversee the validation process.
All affected teachers must complete the validation by March 14, 2025. The GES urges cooperation from all staff to ensure a smooth and successful exercise.
Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, the Acting Director-General of GES, signed the official statement regarding this development.
