The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that every District and Regional Education Office across the country will function as a Placement Resolution Centre to address concerns arising from the 2025 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
According to the GES, specially designated officers will be available at these centres to assist parents, guardians, and students who may face challenges with the placement process. The officers include: The Public Relations Officer (PRO), The Examination Officer and The Free SHS Coordinator.
The Service emphasized that there is no need for students and parents to travel to Accra to resolve placement-related issues. While the National Resolution Centre is situated at GNAT Hall in Accra, all District and Regional Education Offices are equally equipped and prepared to provide the necessary support.
“Anyone facing challenges with the placement process should simply visit the nearest District or Regional Education Office for prompt assistance,” the statement stressed.
The intervention forms part of GES’s broader effort to ensure a smooth placement process and to reduce the pressure on the national centre in Accra.
