Ghana Education Service Announces Closure of All Schools on March 7th, 2024

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially declared Thursday, March 7th, 2024, as a holiday for all school children across the nation. This announcement comes in the wake of intense preparations for the Independence Day Anniversary Parade.

In a statement released to the public, the GES emphasized the importance of allowing students to have a well-deserved rest following their rigorous preparations for the upcoming parade. The decision to declare March 7th as a holiday aims to ensure that students have the opportunity to rejuvenate and recharge before resuming their academic activities.
