Speaking on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma show last year, the Director-General of the Education Service, Prof Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa mentioned that, the move for SHS one(1) students to print their prospectus online forms part of an effort to reduce congestion in schools and slow the spread of Covid-19.
“Due to Covid, we want every Senior High School in the country to publish its prospectus online for the students to print and buy the necessary items before even reporting to school,”
He further made mention of the installation of Wi-Fi in all Senior High Schools as a means of fast tracking other online activities in the schools.
“So some schools are tirelessly working on the prospectus project, maybe from next week we will see that some Senior High Schools (SHSs) have published their prospectus online,” – Mr. Opoku-Amankwa.
Days after the school placement of the 2022 first year students was released, a lot of Senior High Schools in Ghana have circulated flyers containing information on how to print admission letters and prospectuses only.
