‘He’s Cashing Out’: Sarkodie Drops Clean Version Of ‘Try Me’ 

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has uploaded a clean version of his single ’Try Me’ on his official YouTube channel which has called for a lot of reactions from fans.

The controversial song which was released in response to allegations by popular actress Yvonne Nelson, that the rapper impregnated her in 2010 and forced her to abort the baby.

Fans have reacted to the clean version of the song stating that it is a wise way of cashing out from one’s troubles.

“Cashing out in another version. I love sarkodie”, a commenter said.

“My friends always ask me why I love this song so much, I tell them you don’t get to touch the tail of a tiger. You have been my favorite since childhood. King Sark”, another added.

Meanwhile, Yvonne Nelson acknowledged Sarkodie’s rap skills when the first version hit the internet and added, “You would get the applause for rap. Still doesn’t change the TRUTH.” 

While she acknowledged his talent, Yvonne firmly asserted that his music does not alter the reality of the events she detailed in her book. Her statement is a reminder that artistic prowess does not invalidate personal experiences or the truth behind them.
