How to Apply: Applications Open for 2023 Promotion to Various Non-Teaching Grades in Ghana Education Service

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the commencement of applications for promotion to various non-teaching grades for the year 2023. This invitation is extended to qualified serving Non-Teaching Staff seeking advancement in their careers within the service.

To be considered for promotion, applicants must meet the following criteria:

– Must have been promoted to any of the specified grades (accountancy class, internal audit class, non-accounting class, catering class, technical class, librarian class, laboratory technician class, secretary class, and driver class) on or before 1st September, 2019.

– Should have maintained continuous service since the aforementioned promotion date, with exceptions made for approved absences.

– Must possess a commendable work history with a record of good conduct within the Ghana Education Service.

Advanced Qualifications:

Applicants holding Master’s or PhD certificates are subject to additional requirements:

– The respective Masters/PhD program should align with the approved GES course of study.

– The certificate must have been obtained after the applicant’s previous promotion.

– Applicants utilizing Master’s/PhD certificates for promotion must have acquired their credentials on or before 2021.

How to Apply:

All interested candidates are required to apply online via the official GES portal (www.gespromotions.gov.gh) starting from Monday, 26th February, 2024. Applicants should adhere to the following guidelines:

I. Complete the APPLICATION FORM and upload a passport-sized photograph.

II. Upload only the last Promotion, Upgrading, or Appointment Letter.

III. Applicants utilizing Master’s/Doctorate Degrees must upload their certificates.

– All documents must be in PDF format, except for the passport-sized photograph.

– Ensure that all uploaded documents are clear and legible.

– The deadline for online applications is 31st March, 2024.
