Sometimes, our souls are tugged with profound curiosity, seeking answers beyond the tangible. In our depths of uncertainty, we muster courage and whisper emotions to the heavens. Don Little, has been at this crossroad at a point in his life.
Diminutive Kumawood actor Don Little, privately known as Stephen Atanga, has expressed he has inquired of God regarding his smallish stature before.
In a recent interview with Accra Fm’s Nana Romeo, the comedic actor revealed how he believed that his height would have hampered him from achieving success in life, especially when it came to the film industry.
He admitted that he had once questioned God why he had created him when he knew he couldn’t accomplish anything in life because of his size.
Don Litlle went on to discuss some of the obstacles he encountered in his early years, underscoring the fact that he struggled to afford a three-square meal and find a place to put his head. He claimed that he felt abandoned and that the difficulties he faced led him to critique his maker.
“Because God created me this way, I was forced to question him and to some extent spoke against him. I made some utterances which i now regret. I was very angry with God because i felt he doesn’t love me and also felt the whole world was against me,” he said.
He stated that things started to change when he inquired of God regarding his small stature, and he added that he is now tempted to speak ill of God everytime he encounters difficulty since he knows God hears him every time he does.
“I’m tempted to repeat some of the prayers I’ve offered to God whenever things aren’t going well because I’ve noticed that he always responds when I do,” he stressed.
He however expressed gratitude to God, for bringing him this far in life.
