In November 2022, Ghanaian socialite, Mona Faiz Montrage also known as Mona4Reall was reportedly detained by the UK securities for an undisclosed crime.
The Ghanaian female singer was alleged to have been involved in an $8 million fraud case which has led to a joint investigation between the USA and the United Kingdom, and has since this week, convicted her to serve a 10-year jail sentence in the USA.
According to the management of the socialite, people should disregard such news from social media outlets since they are mere allegations without any word of truth in them. The statement released said Hajia is not in any way entangled with any crime to be convicted of.
The statement added that, Mona’s daughter has not been detained by the USA authorities as the circulating news reported.
“Our attention has been drawn to publications making rounds on social media and news portals of the conviction and 10-year jail sentence of Mona Faiz Montrage and the current detention of her daughter; a minor, by the US authorities.”
“We would like to state categorically that the said reports are false,” Part of the statement by the management says.
About the whereabouts of the two characters in the news, Mona is in the UK and her daughter is with the family as confirmed by management.
