The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it has received financial clearance for the payment of salaries to the remaining 6,249 teachers who were recruited in 2024.
According to a statement signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at GES, the approval paves the way for the Service to finalize all necessary administrative and financial processes to ensure that the affected teachers are duly placed on the government’s mechanized payroll.
The financial clearance, which is valid until December 31, 2025, is expected to enable GES to process payments in time for the November 2025 payroll.
Management of GES expressed appreciation to all staff for their patience and continued commitment to their duties, assuring them of the Service’s dedication to ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
