JUST IN: GES Teaching Staff Promotion Test Results Released.

The Ghana Education Service has put to its official page on Facebook, announcing the release of promotion results for teaching staff in a letter. This is the content of the letter:

RELEASE OF RESULTS OF THE PROMOTION TEST TO VARIOUS GRADES WITHIN THE GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) is pleased to inform all teaching staff, that results for the promotion test held in December 2021, to various teaching grades in the Service have been released.

Out of 39,918 candidates who were shortlisted for the test, 26,954 candidates representing 67.5% were successful.

The grades involved are:

  1. Deputy Director
  2. Assistant Director I
  3. Assistant Director Il
  4. Principal Superintendent.

For the Deputy Director grade, 3,538 candidates took the test, out of which 2,330 representing 65.8% were successful.

For Assistant Director I, 10,950 took the test with 7,785 being successful representing 71%.

Candidates who sat for the promotion test to Assistant Director Il grade were 22, 101 out of which 14,541 representing 65.8% passed.

For the Principal Superintendent grade, a total of 3,329 candidates were shortlisted for the test, out of which 69% being 2,298 candidates were successful.

Results of those who passed the examination can be accessed on www.gespromotions.gov.gh. (a fee of 10ghc apply) from 6pm on Wednesday 27th April, 2022.
