Kamaldeen Sulemana’ Southampton Debut Ended In Shambles Against Brentford
Ghanaian pacey youngster, Kamaldeen Sulemana has experienced 3-0 defeat on his Southampton debut against Brentford FC on Saturday afternoon.
The fastest player at the 2022 World Cup who joined Southampton from French Ligue 1’s Stade Rennes in a club record fee of £22.5 million replaced Norwegian international Mohamed Elyounoussi in the 46th minute.
Ben Mee opened the scoring for Brentford in the 41st minute when he won an air challenge against defender Mohammed Salisu.
Bryan Mbuemo made it two for with the left foot in the 44th minute. Yoane Wissa provided the assist.
It was until the 80th minute of play when Mathias Jensen added another with a header to make it three for the host.
Ghana defender Salisu Mohammed enjoyed the entire duration of the game for the Saints of Southampton.
Southampton currently rest at the bottom of the league table with just 15 points having played 21 matches.
