Ghana Black Stars Winger who plays for France Stade Rennes, Kamaldeen Sulemana has picked up fresh injury that is likely to compel him to enjoy 2022 World Cup from home. Rennes manager, Bruno Genesio has confirmed the unfortunate news.
In a press speech prior to a match the coach said, “He had pain in his ankle yesterday, he was injured, and I hope that would not call into question his participation in the World Cup.”
Kamaldeen Sulemana is yet to play his first match since October 9, 2022. He last played in a match against Nantes where he went on as a substitute where he lasted for only three minutes.
The 20-year-old winger has built a heroic status after joining the French side from FC Nordsjaelland. He has been a sensational inclusion in the Ghana National by standing as one of the creative forwards since gaining his debut call-up in 2020. As at October 2021, KAMALDEEN was ranked as the 2nd most in-form player in Europe’s top 5 Leagues by WhoScored. Only Mohammad Salah was ranked higher than the Ghanaian.
