The Ghanaian singer-songwriter encountered adversity on Sunday, March 17, but has showcased his love, passion and dedication towards the work he is doing.

In “Canopy,” Kuami Eugene delivers a heartfelt message centered on the enduring power of faith and the protective embrace of the divine. With lyrics that underscore his unwavering belief in God’s providence, the track serves as both a personal reflection and a universal anthem of hope.

Prior to the song’s release, Kuami Eugene took to social media to express his gratitude to his supporters and well-wishers. Sharing a photo from the University of Ghana Medical Centre, where he received treatment for injuries including a broken arm, the artist conveyed his appreciation for the outpouring of love and prayers he had received during his recovery.
