At age 22, Ghana and Ajax playmaker Mohammed Kudus has been honoured with a memorable mural tributing his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Kudus assisted a goal against Portugal and scored the first ever brace by a Ghanaian player at the World Cup against South Korea, to help Ghana secure a 3:2 win.
Representing Nima, the artist who painted Kudus’ photo to the wall, Mr. Mohammed Awudu, said the success of the Ajax forward will erase some negative perceptions of people from anima as well as motivate the young ones to dream big.
“Kudus is a dream for this community [Nima].A lot of negative stories have been said about it, so it’s an honour to paint Kudus and tell a story to inspire the young generation. They can move out of their comfort zone and make it” — Mohammed Awudu said to TV3
