The Maths and Science Quiz Team of Nkawkaw Senior High School (KAWSEC) has been honoured by the school’s Headmaster during a special assembly on Monday 17th August, 2026 ahead of their participation in the upcoming national competition.
The team is scheduled to depart for Cape Coast tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to represent the school at the national level.
KAWSEC has been grouped alongside Anlo Senior High School and Holy Child School, with the competition taking place on the home soil of Holy Child. This is expected to make the contest highly competitive, with the home team likely to enjoy strong support from its students and supporters.
KAWSECANS in and around Ghana, especially Cape Coast are therefore being encouraged to turn up in their numbers to rally behind the team. Their presence, encouragement and support could provide the much-needed motivation for the contestants as they battle for national glory.
The call also goes out to the Nkawkaw Senior High School Old Students Association and all KAWSEC alumni, friends and supporters to come together and support the team throughout the competition.
As the team prepares to fly the KAWSEC flag high, all eyes will be on them to demonstrate the academic excellence, confidence and competitive spirit for which the school is known.
