Farewell to Late KETASCO NSMQ Star, James Lutterodt
Today, the 9th of September, 2023, the community gathers to bid a final farewell to the brilliant young mind, James Lutterodt, who made a mark on Ghana’s academic landscape as he proudly represented Keta Senior High Technical School (Ketasco) at the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) contest.
The pre-burial service took place on Friday, the 8th of September, 2023, at the Tema Community Centre in Accra. It was a somber yet dignified occasion, attended by a gathering of family, friends, and well-wishers who came together to pay their respects to this exceptional talent.
James Lutterodt’s untimely passing has cast a pall of sorrow over many Ghanaians. His remarkable intellect and historic achievement at the NSMQ contest served as a source of inspiration for countless individuals across the nation. His memory will undoubtedly continue to inspire generations to come.
Tragically, James Lutterodt’s bright journey was cut short in July after a brief battle with illness. He passed away while receiving care at a hospital in Tema, leaving a void that will be felt deeply within the academic community and beyond.
