Renowned Ghanaian actress and producer, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Duah, recently shared the entertaining story of how her husband, Nana Agyeman Badu Duah, first took an interest in her after watching her iconic ‘Asore ba’ films

During an interview on Hitz FM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Mercy Asiedu recounted how her husband’s attention was drawn to her role in *Asore Ba*, a popular film that helped launch her acting career. The actress humorously revealed that her husband was particularly struck by her physical appearance, with her bosom catching his eye.

“He said to himself, ‘This woman has nice bosoms’ and promised to find me once he returned to Ghana,” Asiedu recounted, laughing.

As fate would have it, the couple met when Asiedu was staying at a hotel during a movie shoot, coincidentally the same place where her future husband was staying. They quickly connected, and the attraction he initially felt watching her on-screen soon turned into a real-life romance.

“He told me he had seen my movie and was impressed, not just with my acting but with my appearance. We exchanged contacts and kept in touch from there,” Asiedu said.

Their connection grew from that initial meeting, eventually blossoming into a relationship that led to marriage. Asiedu expressed her happiness at how their love story unfolded, describing her husband as a loving and caring partner. Reflecting on their journey together, she added that their bond has only deepened over the years, and she remains grateful for the life they have built.

The actress’s candid and lighthearted revelation has sparked conversations online, with fans and followers sharing their thoughts on the unusual but heartwarming way love sometimes begins.
