Asantehene’s Generous Donation Boosts Ga Education Fund
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has made a generous donation of GHC 500,000 to the Ga Education Fund. This significant contribution aims to enhance educational opportunities and resources within the Ga community, fostering growth and development for future generations.
The momentous donation was presented during the Asantehene’s visit to the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, symbolizing a historic moment of unity and collaboration between the Asante and Ga kingdoms.
“I want to donate an amount of GHC 500,000 to the Ga Education Fund to help in the education of less-privileged Ga children,” announced the Asantehene through an interpreter, showcasing his unwavering commitment to promoting education and empowering marginalized communities.
In his address, the Asantehene expressed profound gratitude to the Ga State for their warm reception, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation among all chiefs in the country, regardless of tribal affiliations.
“The people of Ga and Ashanti must unite to develop our communities. All Ga chiefs must rally behind Nii Teiko Tsuru II. Unity and development must be our focus for the sake of our children,” urged the Asantehene, highlighting the pivotal role of collaboration in driving progress and prosperity.
Furthermore, the Asantehene emphasized that the modern role of chieftaincy should prioritize development over territorial conquest, stressing the importance of collective efforts in building sustainable and thriving communities for future generations.
