In a generous display of commitment to education, Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency, made a substantial donation of GHC190,000 to the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) team at Abetifi Presby Senior High School.

The gracious contribution was announced on Wednesday, with Dr. Acheampong allocating GHC60,000 to be distributed among the five contestants who excelled in the Semi-Finals of the 2022 NSMQ competition. Additionally, GHC30,000 was set aside for the five contestants who demonstrated exceptional prowess in the Quarterfinals of the 2023 NSMQ competition.

Expressing his appreciation for the remarkable achievements of the NSMQ team, Hon. Dr. Acheampong commended the dedicated teaching staff who played a pivotal role in nurturing the students’ intellectual capabilities. As a token of gratitude, the teaching staff was presented with GHC100,000 for their exemplary efforts.
