The management of Offinso Nurses Training College in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, on Friday August 26, 2022, denied students entry into the school as they were returning from vacation.
Victimised students were forced to stand in the rain with their luggage and other belongings because they refused to buy big buckets of oil paints as ordered by the principal of the school.
From a close source, some students wrote answers on the walls of the exams hall the previous semester as a means of secretly involving themselves in examination malpractice. An invigilator who saw the act quickly reported to the principal through the examination committee of the school.
As a means to get rid of the inscription from the walls, as well as punish students, the principal asked the year group in question comprising at least 700 students to buy big buckets of oil paint, or stay out of the school.
