Sarkodie Discloses He Has Almost 800 Unreleased Songs
Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie who recently got featured on legendary Bob Marley’s ‘Stir It Ip’ has disclosed that he has almost 800 unreleased songs.
Sarkodie told the host, Kojo Manuel on the “The Dryv Show” on YFM that he was then passionate about continuously recording songs which led him into getting almost 800 singles.
“It was just an era that I was recording too much. I knew myself, if I paused that music it will never come out. From that time till now, I still have almost close to 800 songs unreleased,” he said.
The rapper, speaking on YFM explained that the individual singles have reached some stages of development – some are rawly done, some are without choruses while others are just single verses.
“…some with one verse, no chorus and others no chorus, some with full songs, so at that time it was just me recording a bunch of songs and I just had to like put them out there because I record a lot, now my pace is a bit slow down but yes, it was just me having a lot of songs and that era was just me trying to put something out,’’ he added.
