Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Black Sherif Are The Only Superstars In Ghana – Micheal Blackson

American-Ghanaian comedian, Micheal Blackson has said that there are only four superstars in Ghana’s music scene.

According to Blackson, unlike Nigeria who are still struggling to settle on a number of music superstars because they have many, Ghana can only boast of four.

He mentioned Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Black Sherif as the only Ghanaian names making waves in the  international music industry.

“Nigeria has all the stars. Nigeria is like the New York of music in Africa and Ghana is like the Dubai of Africa I can only count about four superstars in Ghana. We have Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Black Sherif.” He said.

Micheal Blackson said this during a podcast discussion on ‘Drinks Champs’ by throwing more spotlight on the four music stars he believes can compete with the Nigerians.

He further announced that Ghanaian rapper, Gambo was now under his “Blackson Management” label.

Blackson’s podcast statement has since attracted massive reactions on various social media platforms with reactors expressing their opinions. Ghanaian musician, Fuse ODG has disagreed with the statement. Supportively, dancehall musician, Jupitar, has applauded Michael Blackson after his claim of only four superstars in Ghana music industry.
