Independence Day Anniversary Quiz competition held among learners of Senior High Schools in Ghana was introduced some years ago. It forms part of the activities done to observe and celebrate the liberation of the Republic of Ghana from their colonial masters (BRITISH).

The Eastern Regional Inter-Zonal session of the 65th Independence Day Anniversary quiz was held on January 11, 2022 at Oyoko Methodist Senior High School in Koforidua. After two tough group contests and a final, St. Dominic’s Senior High Technical School (Dostech) from Pepease-Kwahu came forth as the Ultimate winners.

The school were actually the Eastern Regional defending champions for the 64th independence quiz and have again proven themselves worthy as the best when it comes to such contests.
