Speaking to Obsoul of Sixscribes Network on what motivated the toil to take students through the classical scripts for the play, the director, Mr. Bernard Acheampong (Nana Achie) who doubles as a literature teacher in the school said apart from the entertainment aspect of the whole display, it becomes a requisite to use the performance as a tool to draw literature students close to the practical usage of literary elements. To him, this performance will go a long way to entertain patrons as well as equip targeted learners to excel in their field in the future.

He further stated that, in his capacity as an experienced Performing Arts student from the University of Education, Winneba, he capitalises on this as a challenge to mount the maiden edition of such Acts in the history of the school.

“As part of their course, this is necessary to improve students academically; to help and get students involved, to know how to practically use certain elements in literature. Secondly, as a Performing Arts student I am taking this opportunity to showcase to Pepease and Kwahu as a whole, as well as the entire school body how classical performance is done to entertain people. It is going to be a fascinating night. It is going to be an interesting night so we wish to host a lot of people to get the feel of the whole experience. It will be a remarkable night.” Mr. Bernard Acheampong said.
