Leader of the Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale, could not control himself during the Freedom Waves Concert that was held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Shatta collaborated with Medikal to stage Freedom Waves Concert which saw a record setting number of patrons filling the stadium to near-full capacity.

In a videos from the show, Shatta Wale, whilst on stage was intermittently brought to his knees, built himself up, and later slumped on the stage in tears as the crowd passionately sang the song he was performing verbatim.

Sensational Black Sherif, Wendy Shay, Quamina MP, Kofi Jamar, Phrimpong, and Joey B, all performed at the concert to support the frontline duo.

“Thank you SM Fans. Thank you again loyal blood SM fans. I owe you my life.” — Shatta wrote to appreciate his supporters.
