Ghana’s award-winning blogger, Augustus Koranteng Kyei, popularly known as Kobby Kyei, has said that leaders in Ghana are not doing much to set rules regarding the regulation of housing and rent policies in the country.
In a social media post sighted by sixscribes.com, the 32-year-old social media marketer who has a self mission of using his influence to positively impact his followers and the future generations, made a passionate post as a citizen of Ghana regarding the paltry salaries and earnings of workers – and the huge amount of monies they spend on utilities and rent.
According to Kobby Kyei, spending all earnings on bill is making life in Ghana tough!
“How much are you even earning a month and rent wahala, utilities, etc. Charle we really need leaders who will set a clear roadmap on this rent issue cos it’s really becoming tough!!!”
“The Government don’t have affordable homes for the people and still not ready to help solve this RENT issue. You save every penny and it goes back into RENT. How do they survive?” – he posted on Twitter.
Kobby Kyei is currently an ambassador for Caveman watches and the sole host of Artist Vibe Africa on GHone TV.
