Ghanaian reggae artiste, Samini, has trashed the official theme song chosen for the Ghana Black Stars’ campaign at the World Cup in Qatar. He expressed that the song titled “Osey” which featured numerous Ghana football legends in its visuals, is not soothing to the ears and very difficult to grasp.

“The new black starts song tho, do we have to learn it before the world cup? whoever chose it probably wrote it too. Eini track na 3y3 ya saaa no! Hmmm. A few of us could have done a better job at that Chale anaa meeb)dam lol. but vim is still for the boys. Go Ghana”.

Samini added they could have contacted some musicians who had already released songs for the Black Stars for proper documentations for rights. He mentioned artistes like Kwaku Flitz and highlife musician Akwaboah have released similar songs for Black Stars.
