Black Sherif wins Best Hip Hop Act At Soundcity MVP Awards Festival 2023 Held In Nigeria
Kwaku The Traveller fame, Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong popularly known as Black Sherif has won the Hip Hop act of the year at the 2023 edition of Soundcity MVP Awards festival with prestige.
The glamorous event was held at the Eko Convention Center, Lagos, Nigeria.
Black Sherif, 21, triumphantly jumped ahead over stiffness of battle from South Africa’s Nasty C and AkA, Nigeria’s Blaqbones, Ladipoe, as well as Kenya’s Khaligraph Jones among other competing artists to emerge victor with his widely recognized hit, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’
Killer Blacko dropped his well awaited album, ‘The Villain I Never Was’ in October 2022. The album attracted tremendous attention, digital streams and exciting reviews across the various music digital streaming platforms as well as a lot of chants from listeners.
Black Sherif, is a Ghanaian singer and rapper. He became popular in 2021 with his single “First Sermon” in May 2021. This was followed up with “Second Sermon” in July 2021.
