BREAKING: Okwawu United Qualify For 2023/2024 Division One League
Kwahu based traditional club, Okwawu United, have qualified for the 2023/24 Division One League.
The soccer mountaineers also known as Asaase Aban beat Pelicans 3-1 at Kyebi AstroTurf during match day four in th ongoing ERFA middle league, to seal the qualification with a game in hand against “Live Now” on Sunday.
The club are in a group with VICTORY / LIVE NOW SA, KWAEBIBIREM UTD FC, B.S PELICANS FC, SUPER FC and home rivals RIGHT TO DREAM SA, and have since amassed full twelve (12) points in their first four encounters.
In other news, former skipper of the Ghana national team, Asamoah Gyan, has officially retired from football. He made 109 national team appearances and scored 51 goals. He is Ghana’s all-time top scorer.
